Changes in Africa

This evening I randomly went to africaguide.com and was shocked . . . SHOCKED I tell you, to discover that the name of Niger has been changed, but more shocking than the change is the name which they chose. Click the map to see it for yourself . . .

In related news: Libya is considering changing its name to The Biscuit

Comments:
I'm probably the only person who gets this. And I helped you think it up. But I still went "BWAHAHAHA" and scared my coworker when I read it.

I may not get it, but I totally get it. Ok. I don't, but it's still funny. I just love that there is a country named Chad. And yes, I did know that there was one before this post... I just didn't really know where in Africa it was... Is 'Chad' Tom Green's name in Charlies Angels? Well, I mean THE Chad? Cause I like that. I do wish that Niger would change their name. Then my BIL could stop calling it n*gger. That would be great.

Did they really name themselves chipster?
What the??
Biscuit though...they might have something there.

Also, I wanted to tell you that you should add me to your list of bloggers. Thanks.

Oh, Jess.... there is an unspoken rule that you just don't ask to be added to a blog list... you must earn it...

I'm planning to update my links tonight or tomorrow and Jess and Lisa will both be on it. I just don't update them often enough and I'm planning to change the format, so I've been voiding it because it will be inconvenient.

I actually am new at this blogging thing and so when I made my blog list I just cut 'n' pasted from ry's. So I don't follow your blogging rules.

Ok, you almost had me believing that there was a Chipster, lol! However, did you notice there really is an island off the coast of Madagascar named reunion? Sounds like a place that Chad and Chipster could meet up for a little reminiscing of the good ol' college days...
